Why invisible grills suit Visakhapatnam
Salt. Steel grills rust within a few years on this coast, staining walls and needing constant repainting. SS 316 cables and aluminium tracks resist salt corrosion.
Views. From Beach Road towers to hillside homes, many flats look over the sea or the hills. Thin cables barely interrupt the view.
Wind. Cables offer little resistance to wind, so they don’t rattle or loosen in storms the way loose grills can.
Where we fit them
- Sea-facing windows and French doors
- Bedroom windows in towers
- Staircase openings in houses
- Terraces with low parapets on hillside homes

- Fix tracks with stainless anchors.
- Thread and tension each cable.
- Check every cable by hand.
Care on the coast
Wipe the cables with a cloth dampened in fresh water every few weeks to remove salt deposits, more often on sea-facing windows. Press them gently every few months; if one is looser than the rest, we can re-tension it.
Before we come
List the openings you want covered, which way they face and the ages of any children.

Grills in different homes
Sea-facing towers along the coast use grills on French windows and full-height glass to keep the view. Central flats in MVP Colony and Seethammadhara often replace old, rusted steel grills with cables, which noticeably brightens rooms. Hillside houses use grills on staircase windows and terrace edges where the view over the slopes matters.
Replacing rusted grills
Old steel grills on this coast often rust at the joints and stain the walls beneath. Once removed (a separate job) and the wall made good, an invisible grill in the same opening ends the rust problem for good.
Combining with nets
Pigeons can pass between cables, so homes with a bird problem often add a transparent net behind the grill.
