Homes in Tenali
Tenali is mainly a town of independent houses. The older central streets, including Kothapeta, Chenchupeta and the area around Bose Road, have houses built close together, many with an upper floor added over time. Morrispet and Ithanagar have settled family homes on residential streets. Along Burripalem Road and the other main roads, newer houses and some apartment buildings have come up, and villages such as Pinapadu, Angalakuduru and Kolakaluru sit just outside the town.
The jobs follow the housing. Most are for houses: roof and staircase nets, pigeon nets on ventilators and upstairs balconies, and racks for drying. In flats, families ask for balcony safety, nets behind AC units and nets across shafts.
What we plan for
Humid delta air
With canals and fields around it, Tenali is humid for much of the year. Plain iron hooks rust and stain walls, and painted steel grills need constant repainting. We use stainless-steel hooks and anchors for every net and SS 316 cable for invisible grills.
Hot summers
Summers are hot, with strong sun on roofs and west-facing balconies. UV-stabilised nets resist it far longer than ordinary ones.
Heavy rain
The monsoon months bring heavy rain, and storms from the Bay of Bengal sometimes bring strong wind. Nets are anchored closely and tensioned firmly so they stay flat.
Drying clothes
Washing takes longer to dry in humid weather. A ceiling rack on a covered balcony, or fixed rods under a roof sheet, keeps clothes drying even when it rains.
Roofs and stairs
Families use the roof every day, and many houses have an open staircase up to it. A net along the open edges makes both safe for children and older relatives.
Homes that grow
Many families add a floor when they can. An open roof edge can be netted now, and the net taken down when building resumes.
How a job works
Send photos on WhatsApp. We arrange a visit, measure, suggest materials and give you a price before starting. Most homes are finished in a single visit.
