Why families choose balcony grills
Steel bars are safe enough, but they box you in, rust, and turn hot in the Guntur sun. A net is cheaper but has a limited life in Guntur’s sun. Balcony invisible grills combine strength, openness and long life.
Planning
- Full height for homes with children.
- Vertical cables, about 2–3 inches apart, closer for toddlers.
- Old grills removed first if present.
- Corners get separate panels, meeting with no gap.
- Pigeon net behind the cables if needed.
Specification
| Part | What we fit |
|---|---|
| Cables | SS 316 stainless steel, coated, about 2–3 mm |
| Direction | Vertical |
| Tracks | Aluminium at slab and parapet |
| Fixings | Stainless anchors |
Installation
We take measurements, set the tracks level and fix them, then thread each cable and tighten them all alike. Side panels follow, with any pigeon net added at the very end.
Heat and comfort
A steel grill on a west-facing balcony absorbs heat all afternoon and keeps radiating it into the evening. Thin stainless cables don’t, so the balcony cools down soon after sunset and the family can use it again.
Houses and new flats
In houses, balcony grills often replace old steel enclosures on upper floors. In new flats along the Amaravathi road and in Gorantla, they are fitted from the start to keep the facade clean.
Long-term value
Nets in Guntur’s sun need replacing every few years. Stainless cables and aluminium tracks last much longer, which is why families planning to stay choose grills.
Before we come
Give us the rough size of the opening and tell us about any grill already there.
Care
Wipe the cables when dusty and press them every few months. Keep stools and plant stands away from the grill.

Planning with a pigeon net
Because pigeons can pass between the cables, many Guntur families fit a transparent net behind the grill at the same time. One visit, one neat finish.
Tenants
With the owner’s agreement, tenants can fit balcony grills and remove them when they move. The small holes are easy to fill.
Decorative railings
If the balcony has a decorative railing worth keeping, the grill can run from the top of the railing to the slab, leaving the railing visible below.
